Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR). Geophysical Equipment.
Georadiolocation is a geophysical method of surveying various environments (including inhomogeneous ones) using electromagnetic pulses. For these purposes, a special GPR device is used, which is a portable complex consisting of the following components:
Replaceable antenna blocks are sealed shock–resistant containers in which pairs of emitting and receiving antennas are located. Each pair of antennas operates at its own frequency, the emitters generate ultra-wideband electromagnetic pulses (meter and decimeter range) of very short duration (nanoseconds). Unlike electromagnetic waves emitted by radar stations, short pulses can not only monitor homogeneous media (air, water), but also heterogeneous – soils, reinforced concrete structures, paved roads and others.
GEOTECH provides GPR equipment: ground penetrating radar , seismographs, electrical exploration instruments, security detectors, search and rescue system.
The control unit is a module that consists of various sensors, wiring, converters and other electronic components. The main task of the control unit is to amplify the received signal and convert it into digital information.
The recording device is a built–in or mobile computer that processes the information received from the control unit and, using special software, creates a graphic image (radarogram) on which the results of probing are displayed.
A motion sensor, a path meter and a GPS receiver are georadar modules that are used to position it on the ground so that the results of subsurface sensing can be linked to a plan or a map of the area.
A telescopic rod, a transport trolley, suspensions for attaching to vehicles are additional equipment for moving a ground–penetrating radar during pedestrian passages or when moving on transport (automobile, railway, water).
Battery, power supply, cables, adapters, shoulder unloading, spare parts, transport bags.
